Heating plates for the laboratory, research or production
The company Harry Gestigkeit offers heating plates in sizes of 140 x 140 mm up to 580 x 430 mm, with plates made of aluminum, CERAN®, titanium, or cast iron. Heating temperatures are 20-600°C, and they are offered as benchtop, build-in instruments, and heating plates with a separate control unit. The top surface of the precision heating plates is made of aluminum, with optimum heat conduction characteristics, with an easy to clean anodized outer surface. The temperature is controlled by a microprocessor up to 350°C, with a digital display of the actually measured value. As a standard feature, a temperature-check protects the sample and instrument from any destructive overheating. This plate may be supplied with a temperature controller or programmer. Heating plates with a CERAN® surface, a low-mass glass-ceramics, are heated across to entire surface and reach the maximum temperature of 500°C within 8 minutes. The temperature is controled by an electronic thermostat. The version with a separate heating plate allows the operation in an exhaust hood while the controller is placed in a non-hazardous area. The heating plates with a titanium surface may be operated up to 600°C. Having a special isolation they may be operated on temperature-sensitive tabletops. In combination with a removable lid, flat samples may be hated precisely and intensly. This heating plate may also be supplied with a temperature controller or programmer.
