Small, smaller Ministat
Small, smaller Ministat
The Ministats® from Huber are the smallest refrigerating thermostats in the world. Their compact form allows them to operate in the smallest places, for example inside the exhaust hood, or mounted directly into complete installations. Even though their size is so small, the Ministats® are dimensioned with sufficient power in order to regulate the temperature of photometers, refractometers, viscometers, distillation equipment, reaction vessels with double wall, or installations in small pilot plants. Even though their focus is on applications as an external closed circuit, the opening in the thermostatic bath is large enough to introduce small objects directly.

The full range of the Ministat® consists of three models, which are available in an air or water cooled version. Depending on the model, they cover temperature ranges of -45 °C up to +200 °C, and reach up to a cooling power of some 600 W. A continuous operation is possible with a maximum ambient temperature of +40 °C. The powerful suction pump, with regulated speed, optimizes the circulation. The maximum pressure may be controlled with an optional pressure sensor in order to safeguard sensible and glass fabricated instrumentation or equipment. All models operate with a cooling power control, activated for the economy mode, in order to save energy and reduced residual heat.

The standard equipments are controlled by the CC-Pilot with a color TFT screen, which operates a menu available in 6 languages, calibrates the sensor, and includes a RS232-interface, calendar and time functions, auto-start, adjustable limiting values for security and visual and acoustical alarms. Another advantage is the electronic update function for additional features and functions as the programmer, cascading regulation, camping functions, operator specific menus, calendar starting, and graphical visualization. The optional module Com.G@te with analogue connections according to the NAMUR standards, allows the integration and use of the Ministats® in systems and installations for process control.
