The laboratory pipettes Transferpette® are the result of intensive studies on the handling of pipettes, their ergonomic features and the possible use of new materials. From these results the most perfect pipettes were designed for the most demanding tasks. The Transferpette® S models have the necessary features required by the scientists in the biosciences. One of these outstanding characteristics is the central control button with an additional tip expulsion function. Left or right-handed operators may select the volume single handedly. Even during long working hours, and large series, pipetting does not become tiresome, due to the additional support of the index finger. The Transferpette®S is completely autoclaveable, guaranteeing a maximum protection against contaminations. The 4-digit volume indicator is of utmost accuracy, always very good visible, and protected against accidental disadjustments. The piston and the ejector are made of a non-corrosive material. The color code facilitates the selection of the appropriate tips. The series consists of models with adjustable volumes from 0.1 µL up to 10 mL, and with fixed volumes from 10 µL to 1000 µL. The models of 0.1 µL to 1 µL offer the highest precision, which is especially useful to meter volumetrically enzymes in molecular biology. Adjusting the pipettes is easy with the EasyCalibration function, and accomplished without any tools. Any alteration of the original adjustment will be indicated visibly. Accessories include a wall mounted rack, or table top stand for six instruments. All come with a certificate of conformity, carry the CE sign and have a warranty of three years.
