Using the proven reliability of the Diamond 20 FTIR bench, one Analect EVM is capable of monitoring up to 28 components from 32 remote sampling points over distances of up to 300 meters. The system can be placed in either general purpose or hazardous areas. Communication options include Modbus®, OPC®, Ethernet and analog/digital. The Analect EVM uses the powerful PC 80 process operating system used in over 500 Analect PCM's of on-line FTIR and FTNIR analyzers worldwide. This version of PC 80 engineered exclusively for environmental monitoring is appropriate for the use by engineers, maintenance personnel and chemists. Like the PCM series, the EVM can be operated remotely using pcAnywhere™. The user can apply a variety of quantitative analysis routines including CPSA-Constrained Principal Component Spectral Analysis, Matlab® and Pirouette®.
