Peltier cooled incubators and storage chambers with volumes up to 749 liters
Why concentrate the power needed to operate a storage chamber in short times for heating and cooling, which results in a high consumption of energy, if its prime task is to store samples at a constant temperature? This consideration has lead the engineers from Memmert to develop the new Peltier cooled general storage chamber IPS. With this technique of refrigeration and heating, energy friendly, enormous production costs have been saved, vibrations are eliminated, and, above all, practically no noise is being generated. Not only the energy consumption costs are being reduced significantly, which may be of great importance for companies and institutions with an environmental certificate, but also all maintenance costs are eliminated which derive from the service of the refrigerating system needed for the cooling process. In addition to this novelty, Memmert has presented other new models, like the Peltier cooled, large volume, of 749 liters of usable space, refrigerated incubator IPP for microbiological applications. Other novelties are the incubator CO2 INCO from Memmert, which is complemented with an optional O2 module for the digital control of the oxygen concentration in the chamber, while the compressor cooled refrigerating incubators ICP, with useful space of 256 liters, were introduced with new features: the minimum of reachable temperatures is now for the first time -12°C.
