RETSCH has offered since decades the free of charge service of grinding samples, with the objective to help in the selection of the appropriate equipment for specific applications. During this time we have gathered some 15,000 reports, out of which we are now offering the documentation of the most frequent applications. These reports have been written in a generalized and anonymous form, but showing all the technical details of the process, and may be downloaded from the Applications Data Base. The reports include samples as diverse as algae, bones, tires, iron ore, etc., and are a help to the users in obtaining a first orientation as to which equipment may be basically suited for the individual application. This Database is clearly structured and offers the possibility of searching the desired application by material, equipment, area of application or grain size of the source material. The access to this database and the download of the reports is free of charge, without having to register.
